This week post for 3/2/09 - 3/6/09

I'm getting closer to finishing, Barbaro, A Nation's Love Story therefore I'm currently in chapter 14 where Barbaro's hoof is beginning to grow back at the heel and cornet band after getting 80% of it removed due to a severe and acute laminitis outbreak in that particular hoof. The book has been very sad since the chapter where Barbaro broke his leg during the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Racecourse. I finsihed writing my fiction piece which came out very well with the ending being a cliff hanger, but its only to get the interest of the readers since this same piece of writing will appear in one of my books therefore if you wanna know what happens to Golden Mustang, you'll have to read to find out. I really do hope that those who read my fiction piece enjoy it since my goal is to not have boredom lure them to sleep, but to keep them awake and even begging for more. I also worked on a few prompts with my favorite being the prompt for the writer's competetion, which I surprisely lost because it seemed to be more of a popularity contest rather then awarding the one who had the best writing. I do feel a little dejected about losing since I was gonna use the five dollars to buy something for my little brother who is a upcoming master in Guitar Hero and will be starting Rockband soon.
